The event is aimed at children - with a touch and feel-basin, crab racing and funny lectures about the animals of the fjord. We will meet up at the aquarium hall and have talk about the animals in the fjord and their lives. You will have the opportunity to get up close, and get your hands in the water and touch the animals in our touch and feel-basin. How does it feel to touch a sea squirt, a jellyfish or a starfish? And what does a skeleton shrimp looks like?
The fjord also contains a lot of small plants and animals that can not immediately be seen with your naked eyes – You will get the opportunity to have to see them under a microscope. We will also set up small experiments to demonstrate how the animals function in the eco-system. How does a starfish eat a mussel? What does a blue mussel eat - and how does it do it? Can they really clean the fjord?
Dates: Every Thursday from 28/6 – 09/8-2018 (10:00 am to 11:30 am).
