Welcome to the Oyster & Mussel Premiere in Nykøbing Mors - The Shellfish Capital of Denmark
It is a day of celebration on Mors when we celebrate the oysters and mussels from Limfjord.
Experience gourmet chefs, enjoy taste sensations, and observe the Danish Championships in the Champagne Sabering, Oyster opening and not least the Waiter Battle.
The Shellfish Capital of Denmark, Nykøbing Mors, still has an active fishing fleet and this is home of the main processing industry in Denmark and the Danish Shellfish Centre.

Friday, October 10, 5:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Seafood Gourmet with Waiter Battle
Join an exclusive evening dinner featuring seafood gourmet.
Includes a 4-course menu with paired wines and coffee/tea with sweets.
Saturday, October 11, 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- 10:30 – Oyster landing, Harbor, Nykøbing Mors
- 11:30 – Sparekassen Thy Arena | Mors opens
- 12:00 – Opening speeches
Limfjord Lunch - 12:15 – Tastings by Limfjord chefs
Oyster bar opens - 1:00 PM – Danish Championships in Champagne Sabering and Oyster Opening – senior preliminaries & junior finals
- 3:00 PM – Announcement of senior finalists & junior award ceremony
- 3:30 PM – Thank you – see you tonight!
Saturday, October 11 – EVENING
- 5:30 PM – Arena opens for guests with long-table dinner tickets
Welcome & opening speeches - 6:45 PM – Arena opens for guests without tickets, free entry
Bar opens - 7:00 PM – Presentation of finalists
- 7:30 PM – Oyster Opening Championship – Final
- 8:30 PM – Champagne Sabering Championship – Final
- 9:30 PM – Award ceremony
- 11:30 PM – Thank you and good night
