Sculptures on the Shellfish Route – Mors
Along the Shellfish Route, you can discover several sculptures that tell stories about life in the fjord and its importance to the area.
The Oyster Girl
The sculpture was created by artist Trine Dreyer in celebration of Nykøbing’s 650th anniversary in 1949. The artwork was a gift from the Oyster Company to the town. The Oyster Girl is located in Østre Anlæg, close to the Limfjord.
The Seal
Artist: Constantin Sørensen. Made of bronze and granite. The sculpture is located by the fjord near Strandvejen, but is only displayed during the summer months.
