The museum offers scheduled, guided fossil hunts during the Easter, summer, and autumn holidays. Buy your ticket in advance to secure a spot on these popular tours.

You bend down and pick up a stone. With your hammer, you split it in two. And what might appear inside the stone? If you're lucky, it may reveal a secret that has been hidden for 55 million years! Perhaps a fossil of an insect, a fish, or a leaf. There are plenty of fossils to be found in the moler pits of Northern Mors.

Join one of the museum’s skilled guides in the museum’s very own moler pit, located just a stone’s throw from the Fossil and Moler Museum. Equipped with the right tools, you will explore together and search for the unique fossils that have been buried in the underground for millions of years.
