Jørsby Kirke

Joersby Church is the only medieval brick church on the island of Mors, built in the 15th century. IThe church contains two notable woodcarvings and an altarpiece from 1866 by Chr. Dalsgaard. It also holds the only preserved Gothic window on Mors.

If the door is locked, the key is available from the sexton or the rectory.

Joersby Church is a small, Gotic slate church from the 1400s. Two pieces of woodcut work: Saint Michael and the Dragon from about 1250 and Mary with the infant Jesus (1500). Altar piece from 1886 by Chr. Dalsgaard, Soroe.

In case the door is locked, please ask for the key at the verger or in the rectory.
