Outrup Kirke consists of a Romanesque chancel and nave, while the tower is built in the Gothic style.

Finds and traces from the church's history
During the restoration of the church's ashlar walls in 1975, a large granite head was discovered. This head is today displayed in the tower room.
In the triumphal wall to the north and south, two niches from former lay altars have been preserved.

The font is Romanesque and dates from the church's earliest period. The altarpiece and pulpit are from the early 17th century and executed as Renaissance works.
