The Schnapps Route – 3 days of flavour, ferries and fjord atmosphere

Go on an atmospheric mini-break along the Schnapps Route, where good meals, local specialities and the calm of the Limfjord come together in perfect harmony.

Here a journey awaits with flavour, views and small adventures along the way.

Day 1 – Arrival and a warm welcome in Thy

The stay begins at Hotel Thinggaard with freshly brewed coffee and cake.

Afterwards there is time to explore Hurup.

The day rounds off with a delicious schnapps menu.

Day 2 – From fjord to fjord with flavour along the way

After breakfast the route heads towards Næssundfærgen and on to Sydmors.

The route takes you through the landscape to Thise Mejeri for tastings, then onwards to Brænderiet Limfjorden at Sundsøre Havn.

The day ends with a ferry to Hvalpsund and an overnight stay at Hvalpsund Færgekro with a luxury dinner.

Day 3 – Calm, views and historic surroundings

Begin the day at a relaxed pace.

Visit the manor house Hessel and enjoy the schnapps herb garden as a beautiful close to the trip.
