Thy Whisky
Thy Whisky Distillery is located on their ancestral estate Gyrup, with the Thy National Park and the dunes of the wind-swept North Sea as its closest neighbors.
While whisky production started in 2010, Gyrup is a traditional place with a history dating back to the early 14th century - the last eight generations have owned the farm. In addition to the whisky distillery and farm malting, Gyrup is still a modern organic farm with a dairy production for Thise and 450 hectares of arable land.

Drop-in tasting (No tour)
Take a seat in the tasting room and get an introduction to Thy Whisky. They will serve three glasses of their whiskies and briefly explain how they make award-winning whisky from the grains grown on their estate.
- No reservations necessary, just drop by.

Guided tour and whisky tasting
They'll take you on a guided tour of the whisky distillery, the cask store and their organic farm. You will learn how they make their whisky, and finally you will taste some of their whiskies under expert guidance.
